"Social feed feels messy and hard to justify paying for"
I gave weareher.com a try because the social feed sounded like it could make the app feel more active and community-based. To be fair, I do like the idea behind it, and I can see how it might work if it were better moderated. But in my experience, the feed felt cluttered, and a lot of what I saw looked like spam or people mostly promoting themselves.
The app also kept nudging me toward paid features, which I get is normal for dating apps, but the free version didn’t really give me enough confidence to consider paying. The matches weren’t great for me, and a few profiles seemed questionable or fake. I don’t think it’s completely useless, but based on my short time using it, it just didn’t feel worth sticking with.

"I kept seeing their promos everywhere and..."
I kept seeing their promos everywhere and felt kind of embarrassed that I finally gave in and tried it. It was fine, I guess, but nothing like the ads made it seem. For how much they push it, I expected way more.

"Easy to Use and Welcoming"
I liked using the site. It was simple to get around, and it didn’t feel like it was made for only one kind of person, which I really appreciated. Everything was clear and easy to follow, and the whole thing felt welcoming without being overdone. I found what I needed quickly too, which is always nice because some sites just make me... yeah. Overall, it was a good experience.

"Decent engagement, but a few avoidable slow spots"
I’ve been keeping an eye on weareher.com, and overall the community seems active based on the member engagement. It’s not perfect, though, a few sections feel slower than they should, which feels avoidable. Still, there’s enough activity there to make it worth checking in on.

"Felt More Like a Number Than a Customer"
I found the menu confusing, and it took way longer than it should have to book. The whole process felt a bit impersonal, like I was just another ticket number waiting to be handled rather than an actual customer trying to get help.

"really Fun event, No complaints"
I went to one of their events and had a really good time. the crowd was cool, the vibe was Nice, and it didn’t have that awkward feel some events can have. everything started pretty much on time too, which I appreciated. I’d definitely go again.

"Looks nice, but the messaging needs work"
The app itself looks good, but the messaging was frustrating. Compared to other apps I use, the chats felt way slower than they should. Some conversations took forever to load, and a few messages didn’t even show up until later, which made it hard to keep the flow going. I expected it to be smoother, especially since the rest of the app seems decent.

"Canceling Was Surprisingly Simple"
I figured canceling would be a pain, but nope, my snap judgment was totally wrong. It was quick, easy, and there was no hassle at all...

"Too Quiet to Keep Using"
I really wanted to like weareher, but it was just way too quiet for me. It felt like nobody was ever really online, or at least everyone in my area had already disappeared. I kept checking back and seeing the same handful of profiles over and over, all these dating sites start feeling the same when there’s no real activity. Maybe it’s better if you live in a huge city, but for me it got boring fast, so I ended up deleting it.

"Met someone GREAT, but the app can be glitchy"
I signed up for weareher.com not really expecting a whole lot, honestly. I talked to a few people at first, and yeah, some conversations fizzled out quickly, but that feels normal for dating apps.
After about three weeks, I ended up matching with someone local, and we’ve been going out for about a month now. So I have to give credit where it’s due, it ACTUALLY worked for me.
I’m giving it 4 stars because the app/site was kind of slow at times, and notifications would show up late, which was annoying. But overall, I’m really glad I gave it a shot.

"Notifications are easy to manage"
I like that I can turn off the notifications I don’t need without much hassle. After paying, I was a little skeptical and wasn’t sure if everything would work as expected, but so far it’s been straightforward.

"Profile options are fine, I guess"
The profile customization is okay overall. I was able to add the basic info and make it look decent, but I kept wishing there were more options for changing the layout or adding smaller details. Maybe I’m just being picky, but it felt a little limited. A couple of updates also took longer to show up than I expected, which made me wonder if I’d done something wrong. It’s not bad, just not as smooth as I hoped.
"Took Way Too Long to Hear Back"
I’m totally fine, really, but waiting several days just to get a reply was not exactly the smoothest experience. I get that things get busy, but a quicker response would’ve been nice.

"Nice-looking site, but a little confusing"
The site looks good at first, actually, it is really nice visually—but once I started clicking around, the menus felt kind of messy and hard to follow

"Mostly safe, with a few things slipping through"
Overall, it feels safe to use, and I don’t usually feel uncomfortable hanging around there. The mods seem to be trying, but every now and then something weird or inappropriate sits around longer than it should. Not the end of the world, but it does make you notice. Kind of like when you clean your kitchen and still somehow find one random spoon in the living room later. Anyway, it’s mostly fine, just not perfect.

"Getting started was more frustrating than it..."
Getting started was more frustrating than it should’ve been. The onboarding felt scattered, and I kept having to dig through emails just to figure out basic next steps. It also felt like everything was being handled by some automated system instead of an actual person, which made it even more annoying when I got stuck. After a while, I just gave up before I ever really got going

"Works fine, but privacy details could be clearer"
The site itself works well, but I was a little unsure about the privacy info. My sister and I were both looking through it, and we felt like it could explain more clearly how our data is used and where it’s stored. A bit more detail there would make me feel a lot more comfortable

"Pretty quick account verification"
My account got verified quickly overall. There was maybe one small delay along the way, but it wasn’t a big deal and everything went through fine in the end.

"Ban was frustrating, but the appeal did work"
My account got banned out of nowhere, and I was really annoyed because there wasn’t much explanation at first. It felt confusing, especially when I didn’t know what I was supposed to have done wrong.
I sent in an appeal and it took a few days, but support did eventually get back to me and fixed it after looking into it. It definitely wasn’t perfect, but they were fair in the end, so I’m giving 4 stars. The ban system just really needs to explain things better.

"I wasn’t totally sure what to…"
I wasn’t totally sure what to expect, but the matches have actually been spot on for me. I didn’t have to swipe forever, which was nice, and most people seemed like my type. I’ve had a couple of good chats already, so overall I’m happy with it so far...
